6th Annual Jeff's Day

ALS Benefit Golf Tournament
Wednesday, May 26, 2010

Jeff at “The Open,” St. Andrews

Hello Golfers and Friends of Jeff,

Happy spring!  The snow is melting fast and soon we’ll be teeing it up again for a great cause; finding a cure for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.

The 6th Annual Jeff Hadley Day Golf Tournament will be played May 26, 2010 at Green Mountain National Golf Course in Killington, VT.  Registration begins at 9am.  The shot-gun start is at 10:30am with lunch, silent auction and awards ceremony to follow.

Per Jeff’s instructions, the format will, again, be a 5-person scramble with one professional on each team.  Under the present economic circumstances, participation of any kind in this important fundraiser will be especially appreciated.

Attached is a registration form.  You can also register on line this year at:  www.alstdigolf.org.  We hope you can play but there are other ways to help:

  • Sponsor a hole

  • Donate by mail or on line

  • Donate an auction item

Another fun way for everyone to get involved, whether you golf or not, is to join our 4th Annual Jeff’s Night BBQ, Beer & Bonfire Bash at Green Mountain National Golf Course on Tuesday evening, May 25. The “Committee” is working hard to make this year’s Bash bigger and better than ever.  Your $20 donation will not only include bottomless BBQ and beer but live music, games and raffles, too!

As always, proceeds will be donated to the ALS Therapy Development Institute (www.als.net) through the Jeff Hadley Family Fund.  ALS TDI is on the cutting edge of ALS research, especially into the genetic form of the disease passed from generation to generation.  Jeff’s family has suffered this type of ALS for over 250 years.

Please help us celebrate Jeff’s life while keeping his dream of curing this paralyzing disease alive.

Thank you for caring.  See you May 25th & 26th!
